Check-in and check-out policies
1. Prices and taxes
All published rates include VAT and applicable taxes in Spain. Prices refer to accommodation per bed or room as indicated in the booking. Additional services (such as meals, laundry, events, excursions, towel or padlock rental) will be charged separately and will be clearly indicated before booking.
2. Payments and conditions at check-in/check-out
Check-in: from 3:00 PM (early check-in subject to availability). Check-out: until 11:00 AM. Late check-out is available for an additional fee and is subject to availability. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card. Refundable rates: payment is due upon arrival. Non-refundable rates: full prepayment is required at the time of booking. The hostel reserves the right to request a deposit or security deposit to cover any potential damages or breaches of contract.
3. Traveling with minors
Minors under 18 years of age are not permitted to stay unaccompanied. Minors must stay in private rooms, accompanied by their parents, guardians, or authorized adults with signed parental consent and a copy of the parents' ID. Adults will be responsible for the conduct and damages caused by minors.
4. Accessibility or special needs
Hostel Nixar complies with Spanish accessibility regulations. Guests with disabilities or special needs must inform us in advance so that the team can make necessary adjustments and ensure accessibility.
5. Parking
The hostel does not have its own parking. Information will be provided about nearby parking facilities or agreements with external parking options.
6. Hostel Events
The hostel may organize cultural, social, and leisure events on its premises or in collaboration with third parties. Guests are welcome to participate, respecting the rules of conduct and quiet hours. Organizing private parties in rooms without express authorization is prohibited.
7. Use of personal information
The personal data provided by the guest will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection legislation. It will be used solely for managing reservations, fulfilling legal obligations, and communicating with guests regarding the service.
8. Responsibility
The hostel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings in rooms or common areas. The use of lockers with padlocks is recommended. Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the facilities, furniture, or third parties, and must pay for the cost of repair or replacement.
9. Force majeure
The hostel will not be liable for the inability to fulfill its obligations in the event of force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, supply cuts, pandemics, government restrictions or other events beyond its reasonable control).
10. Third-party rights
These Terms and Conditions do not confer any rights on any person other than the customer and the hostel.
11. Resignation
The fact that the hostel does not at any time demand strict compliance with a clause of these terms will not be considered a waiver of its rights nor will it limit its ability to demand it in the future.
12. Compensation
The guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the hostel, its staff and collaborators from any claim, damage, liability, loss or expense (including legal fees) resulting from: a) Breach of these conditions. b) Negligent, willful or unlawful conduct during the stay.
