House Rules and Internal Regulations
(In accordance with Article 25 of Andalucía Decree-Law 13/2020 and applicable tourism regulations)
1. PURPOSE OF THESE REGULATIONS
These Internal Regulations are intended to establish the rules of coexistence, use of facilities, rights, and obligations of guests staying at Nixar Hostel, ensuring safety, cleanliness, comfort, and the proper use of the establishment’s facilities and services.
These regulations are made available to guests in accordance with Article 25 of Andalusia Decree-Law 13/2020 concerning tourism accommodation establishments.
Access to and stay within the establishment implies full acceptance of these rules.

3. RIGHT OF ADMISSION
The establishment reserves the right of admission and permanence in accordance with applicable regulations.
Access or stay may be denied to any person who:
· Fails to comply with these regulations.
· Behaves violently, aggressively, or disrespectfully.
· Causes serious disturbance to other guests.
· Is under the influence in a way that disrupts coexistence.
· Misuses facilities or equipment.
· Engages in illegal activities.
Expulsion from the establishment shall not entitle the guest to any refund.
4. IDENTIFICATION AND REGISTRATION
All guests must present a valid official identification document prior to accessing the rooms.
The establishment will carry out the mandatory guest registration in accordance with Spanish public security regulations.
Accommodation of unregistered persons is strictly prohibited.
5. MINORS
· Guests under 18 years old must stay accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult.
· Minors may only stay in private rooms or rooms exclusively reserved for their family or school group.
· The establishment may request written authorization and supporting documentation.
6. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT HOURS
Check-in
From 3:00 PM onwards.
Check-out
Until 11:00 AM.
Late departures may incur additional charges.
Reception
The establishment may operate with limited on-site reception services, supported by automated access and digital assistance systems.
7. AUTOMATED ACCESS SYSTEM
Nixar Hostel operates partially through automated access systems.
· Guests will receive digital access instructions and/or codes.
· Access codes are personal and non-transferable.
· Sharing access credentials with non-registered persons is strictly prohibited.
Improper use of access systems may result in immediate expulsion.
8. RULES OF CONDUCT
All guests must behave respectfully towards:
· Other guests.
· Staff members.
· Neighbors.
· Facilities and furniture.
The following are not permitted:
· Loud music or shouting.
· Offensive or intimidating behavior.
· Acts of vandalism.
· Discriminatory conduct.
· Unauthorized parties in rooms.
9. QUIET HOURS
Quiet hours are established from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
During this period, guests must avoid any activity that may disturb others.
10. NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the interior of the establishment, including rooms, bathrooms, windows, balconies, and indoor common areas, in accordance with Spanish Law 28/2005.
Failure to comply may result in:

Additional cleaning or deodorizing charges.
· Immediate expulsion.
· Notification to authorities if necessary.
11. ALCOHOL AND DRUGS
· The consumption or possession of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
· Alcohol will not be served to persons under 18 years old.
· The establishment may limit alcohol consumption in certain areas or during certain hours.
Any conduct related to illegal drugs will result in immediate expulsion without refund.
12. USE OF ROOMS
· Guests may only use the bed assigned to them.
· Changing rooms or beds without authorization is not permitted.
· Non-registered persons are not allowed in shared rooms.
· Cooking, storing perishable food, or eating in rooms is prohibited when it affects hygiene or coexistence.
13. VISITORS
External visitors are only allowed in authorized common areas and must identify themselves when requested.
The establishment may restrict or prohibit visitors during certain hours.
14. KITCHEN AND COMMON AREAS
The kitchen and common areas must be kept clean after use.
Guests are required to:
· Clean any utensils used.
· Dispose of waste properly.
· Respect schedules and occupancy limits.
The establishment may remove abandoned or spoiled food items.
15. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Each guest is responsible for their personal belongings.
The establishment accepts no responsibility for:
· Loss.
· Theft.
· Damage to personal property.
Guests are encouraged to use lockers and personal locking systems.
16. DAMAGES
Guests shall be financially responsible for any damage caused through misuse, negligence, or inappropriate behavior.
The establishment reserves the right to charge for repairs, replacements, or extraordinary cleaning costs.
17. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Authorized staff may access rooms for:
· Cleaning.
· Maintenance.
· Safety reasons.
· Emergencies.
Guest privacy will always be respected as much as possible.
18. SAFETY
The establishment is equipped with security measures and video surveillance systems in common areas, in accordance with applicable regulations.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
· Tampering with safety equipment.
· Blocking emergency exits.
·
Disabling alarms or smoke detectors.
· Any conduct that compromises the building’s safety.
19. PET POLICY
Pets are not allowed, except for:
· Guide dogs.
· Officially recognized assistance animals.
20. PROHIBITED ITEMS
The entry or storage of the following is prohibited:
· Weapons.
· Flammable or explosive materials.
· Hazardous substances.
· Any equipment that may compromise the safety of the establishment.
21. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
Guests must:
· Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
· Follow staff instructions.
· Maintain respectful and civil behavior.
· Respect the facilities and coexistence rules.

Official Andalusian Complaint Forms are available to guests upon request.
23. ACCEPTANCE
Access to and stay at Nixar Hostel imply full acceptance of these Internal Regulations.
